Boil: Stove Top: Bring 6 cups of water (salted if desired) to a boil. Add frozen edamame and bring to a second boil. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain, season to taste and serve. Microwave: Microwave: Pour frozen edamame in a microwave-safe dish. Add 3/4 cup of water and cover. Microwave on high for 4-6 minutes. Drain, season to taste, stir, cover and let stand for a few minutes before serving. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary. Do not microwave in bag. Steam: Steam: Cover bottom of steamer with water, bring to a boil, and place contents of package in top of steamer. Cover and steam for 4-6 minutes, or until tender. Season to taste and serve.
