Stove Top: Pour desired amount of frozen spinach into sauce pan with boiling water about 1/2 cup. Bring to full boil over High heat. Separate with a fork if necessary, for uniform cooking. Reduce heat, cover and simmer to desired tenderness, about 4 to 6 minutes. Do not overcook. Drain, season to taste and serve. Microwave: Place 2 cups of frozen spinach and 2 tablespoons of water in an microwave-oven-safe dish. Cover and cook at High power for 2 minutes. Sir and continue cooking 2 more minutes. Let stand covered 2 minutes. Season to taste. For each additional cup of spinach add 1-1/2 minutes of cooking time. Note: Microwaving cooking times may vary depending on the particular appliance used. Please consult the manufacturers instruction. Do not over cook. Keep Frozen Until Ready to Use: if thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C) or lower. Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed.
