Stove Top Cooking Instructions: For each 1 cup frozen vegetables, heat 1/2 cup water to boiling. Place frozen vegetables in boiling water and add 1/4 teaspoon salt. Bring to a second boil. Reduce heat. Cover and cook gently 3 to 5 minutes. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Microwave Instructions: Place vegetables in microwave casserole. Add 2 tablespoons water an cover. Microwave on high power for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir after first half of cooking period. Season to taste. Stir, cover and allow to stand a few minutes before serving. Microwave oven may vary. Heating time may require adjustment. Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 165 degrees F or 74 degrees C. Keep frozen. Keep frozen until ready to use.
