Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerated or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Always cook sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F using a meat thermometer. Skillet: Heat a pan to medium temperature. Add 6 tablespoons water and place sausage in pan. Cover the pan, continue heating for 10-12 minutes, turning the sausage often.
