Directions
When switching foods, gradually increase the new food and decrease the previous food to help make a smooth transition. This 1 lb bag contains approximately 4 cups of food. Depending on the age, activity level and condition of your dog, the feeding guidelines will need to be adjusted. The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog: Dog’s Weight: 5 to 10 lbs; Amount to Feed Per Day (using standard 8 oz measuring cup): 3/4 to 1-1/3 cups; As Topper/Mixer (When feeding with other food be sure to adjust portion accordingly to avoid overfeeding): 1/8 cup; Dog’s Weight: 11 to 20 lbs; Amount to Feed Per Day (using standard 8 oz measuring cup): 1-1/3 to 2-1/4 cups; As Topper/Mixer (When feeding with other food be sure to adjust portion accordingly to avoid overfeeding) : 1/4 cup. Dog’s Weight: 21 to 40 lbs; Amount to Feed Per Day (using standard 8 oz measuring cup): 2-1/4 to 3-3/4 cups; As Topper/Mixer (When feeding with other food be sure to adjust portion accordingly to avoid overfeeding): 1/3 cup. Dog Weight: +5 lbs; Amount to Feed Per Day (using standard 8 oz measuring cup): +1/3 cup. These quantities can be fed as one meal or divided into two meals based on your dog’s preference.
