Directions

Boil: Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Boil 2 cups water in a small saucepan, add 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil, and 1 cup of quinoa. Reduce heat to low, cover loosely. Cook for 18 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Turn off heat & let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Microwave: Microwave: Place 1 cup quinoa in a microwave safe container, add 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil & 2 cups of water, cover loosely. Cook on high for 6 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 8 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
