The Contadina, which is Italian for "female farmer," is made with Cabernet Sauvignon from the famous Sorenson Vineyard and a small portion of Petite Verdot and Malbec from Haymaker Vineyard. It has the classic acidity and structure of Howell Mountain Cabernet with concentrated dark fruit.
- Founded by Tom Burgess and family-owned since 1972, the estate property has been part of Napa Valley winemakeing history for 150 years.

A structured and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas and flavors of blackberry and ripe black currants. The lush fruit is brought into balance by high tone herbal aromatics of mint, sage, and sweet tobacco. The distinctively thick-skinned Cabernet grapes provide a long, velvety finish.
