Contains: egg.
Basic Breading Directions: 1. In a bowl, mix the beaten egg with 1 tablespoon of water. 2. Pour some Jason Seasoned Coating Crumbs onto a shallow dish. 3. Dip food first into egg mixture and then into the coating crumbs, turning to coat evenly. Basic Pan Frying Directions: 1. In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat about 2 tablespoons of oil or margarine over medium high heat (about 370 degrees F). 2. Place breaded food pieces in hot skillet. Cook until lightly browned and crisp, allowing a crust to form, about 2 minutes before flipping to cook the other side. When food pieces are hot and browning well, lower heat to medium low. 3. Continue cooking until properly heated through and crisp. Fish fillets are ready when flaky and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes each side. Chicken breasts are ready when no longer pink inside and juices run clear, approximately 5-6 minutes each side depending on thickness.
